A local gas station attendant recommended this cafe as we passed through town and asked if McDonald's had indoor seating. Boy are we glad we took her word for it! Great, down home country breakfast that reminded me of my late mother's cooking! Very friendly and welcoming staff for these out of towners! If we ever come back through we will definitely stop in again! We could have even had a meet & greet with the mayor and had pie if we had more time! Small town business at its best!

Local restaurant in Johnston City. Food is pretty good. They have weekday senior specials and specials on Sunday. Quite a few old picture on the wall showing Williamson County back in the day

My neighbor took me there for a quick drop-in. I was introduced to the owners and staff, and everyone was so charming that first day I had chill and fries and a grill cheese sandwich it was awesome. I took home a piece of the million dollar pie it was to die, for I don't find this food in New york I was back there on Sunday, and it was another awesome experience fried chicken yum. Thanks, Anderson Cafe it was fun being there.

We were staying at a local campground and stopped in here for their Friday night all-you-can eat fish dinner. The fish was great and it was stacked so high on the plate that we didn't have to ask for a second serving. The restaurant started in 1927 and many of the items are original including the booths you sit in. If we ever find ourselves in this area again we will definitely come back.

Great food, service and atmosphere! Found this cafe on route back to Chicago off of Route 57. Love the old cafe decor with modern features. Bathrooms are clean!

If you're looking for a cheap, hole-in-the-wall spot for no-frills breakfast, this is it. The food is simple and delicious, especially the biscuits and gravy! Our server was sweet and she kept my coffee cup filled.

11/10/2023 The service was outstanding, the food was delicious. They were very busy when we arrived, they still got to us promptly. Only waited about 15 minutes for our order. I had the Pollock with fries and coleslaw. The slaw is a vinegar base just like my grandmother use to make, delicious..The order came with hush puppies. A hidden gem we just recently found out about. They will definitely be seeing more of us. We have had breakfast there also, I did not get any photos. The biscuits and gravy are amazing.
